Truman Price: Music of the Oregon Trail

Truman Price is a life-long violinist/fiddler who has lived near Independence for forty years and has made a special study of music of the Oregon Trail.  

He often holds the fiddle in the crook of his arm, allowing him to sing and play simultaneously as did "Pa Ingalls" of the Little House on the Prairie books.  

Truman was a member of the "True West String Band" for years, taught thousands of children square dancing through "Artists in Schools" programs, and has given many solo concerts on the music of the Oregon Trail.
