Meet Oregon artist Frances Stilwell as she speaks about her art on exhibit at the Heritage Museum on loan to us from the Oregon Historical Society. Her talk will last about 15 minutes, with plenty of time for questions afterwards.

About the Event
Meet the Artist: Frances Stilwell
Frances Stilwell, born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1940, is an artist with a passion for science. She earned degrees in Botany (BA, 1963) and Botany-Biophysics (MS, 1967) from the University of Cincinnati. In 1969, she moved to Oregon, where she combined her love for art and science. Working primarily in pastels, she documented Oregon’s native plants in their natural habitats.Â
